LANDSCAPES
as outlined in the introduction, the current ethiopia has predominantly high and hilly landscapes, and several mountains exceed 4000m. there are no coastal regions anymore
between the manifold mountains, about everywhere are landscapes to nourish animals, such as sheep, goats, cows and donkeys. farming is also pursued, including cereal plants such as rye. in quite a few areas the fiels are created in a terrace design.
countless kinds of trees can be seen, and many do florisch. the same is true for cactusses, which may be very large.
somehow unexpected in such a rough country - very many plants in all sorts of colours provide genuine beauty, out there in the scenery, or presented in the gardens of villages.
they can be observed from several viewpoints, including a marvellous 'swinging' metal bridge, which may be a bit scaring yet offers a unique perspective.
