COUNTRY LIFE
this gallery begins with one of the many historic painting you can fin in ethiopia, showing the life of farmers in early times.
in the country the farming people still have to carry things to their home. this includes water, a very essential item. and there they prepare food and get the coffee procedure going.
some of the traditional huts are still around, however, current habitats on a farm are much larger.
in early periods quite a few people from hebrew or israelite states were living in ethiopia, and there are still villages calling themselves jewish. they tend to have a high handicraft culture, including weaving and pottery, and trade resulting goods.
finally, a special part of the country life is that artists live there and prepare pictures for visitors who come along...
