RAILWAY STATION

the almost legendary train station is the end station of the transsibirian railway, which connects moscow and vladivostok. it is by far the longest railway line ever build - the distance is 9289 km. the trains need about 7 days.
the striking station building was completed 1912 and after world-war II carefully renovated, both outside and inside. on platform 1 a bulky historic steam locomotive is presented. in the central hall, high decorated columns and large chandeliers are significant. plus, the ceiling is covered with gorgeous murals, which show buildings of moscow such as the basilius cathedral and of vladivostok - including the train station itself - and people waiting for the arrival of a train ...
