SCORESBY SUND (preview)

in east greenland is the scoresby sund (see map), the world's largest fjord structure. its western end is about 120 km away from the coast. the landscape is dominated by high rocky mountains and many glaciers. very large icebergs can be seen about everywhere.

during the brief summertime, this stunning scenery can be visited by ships, especially small ones which can explore remote sections of the fjord.
