Finland (finnish: Suomi) is one of the four Scandinavian countries, located east of Sweden and west of Russia. The population is 5.5 mio, and its capital is Helsinki.
Finland is a country since about 800 years. However, for a long time it was part of Sweden or Russia, full indepence was only achieved in 1917
My three visits of Finland occurred 1979, 1985 and 2010.
