YEMEN

 

 

the country yemen is  located in the south-western part of the arabian peninsula. saudi-arabia is north of it, oman east of it. the population is around 30 mio, and the capital is sanaa. since about 2010 there is basically civil war in yemen.
the presented photos result from a visit in 1998 to sanaa, marib, mokka and aden.
