people work hard in vietnam, especially the women ... but they also enjoy life, especially eating ... and there is great friendliness and helpfulness towards travellers - quite amazing, given how terribly this country suffered from chinese, french and american invaders ... and btw, most people are actually quite happy to be photographed if you ask politely!
