SWISS MOUNTAINS

this long valley in north-eastern switzerland extends east of the zuerich lake; the kurfirsten mountain range is in the south, the alpenstein range (with the saentis peak) in the north ... streams and some waterfalls and lakes add to the character of the landscape ... the road leads thru a string of small rural towns, and the hills are scattered with farmhouses ... and of course there is no lack of cows in this area!
