along oman's coast runs a top-modern 6-lane freeway, and main inland cities are connected by highways as well ... they don't look much different to motorways in other countries - what's distinct though: most roundabouts contain monuments, ranging from impressive memorials to terrible kitsch, and lots of strange things are scattered along the roads as well - have a look!
