the vegetation in the mountains is lush and often colorful - as are some of the birds, such as the tiny colibris (who like to get fed) … jamaica's mountains are also the right place for growing coffee plants - and of course me the lover of coffee had to visit a coffee farm in the blue mountains north of kingston ... a grim lady kindly showed me the whole place ... how they treat and sort the coffee beans looks very old-fashioned ... the good stuff ends in these big drums - each worth a fortune (too bad that i couldn't take away just a few) ... but fortunately for the luggage-challenged traveler handy liddl packs are available, made ready to go with the latest technology!
