BERLIN WALK 'KREQUZ&QUER' #3

on my next berlin visit, i wandered thru central (mostly ex-eastern) berlin again, 'kreuz und quer' (zigzagging around) ... in the area which used to be a jewish quarter, a set of houses with public passages and courtyards has been nicely restored, as well as the synagogue ... the tall television tower, communist east germany's demonstrative landmark building, is still there ... a lot of modern residences are now popping up in the middle of an area which still has a pleasant backwardish flavour ... finally, can't resist to include a pic of bears, given that a bear is berlin's coat-of-arm beast ...
