finland (finnish: suomi) is one of the four scandinavian countries, located east of sweden and west of russia. the population is 5.5 mio, and its capital is helsinki. my three visits of finland occurred 1979, 1985 and 2010. the pertinent galleries are in preparation. finland excels in both, modern urban features and gracious landscapes, especially thousands of lakes.
